About the Designer... Born and raised in Hawaii, Peter Turner's first life experiences cultivated hisawakening to the innate artist within -- three important life lessons were revealed through this heavenly Culture, with its lush landscape and exotic history:
Drawn to the Hawaiian leis, hats and woven materials, Peter began building and creating works of art with these amazing, simple materials. His Paper Structure Dynasty was born! During his teens and twenties, Peter's scuba diving experience allowed experiential "oneness with life" through mental and physical immersing in structures, sounds and "creations" of The Deep. Coupled with his years in Air Force Intelligence, he developed deep understanding and respect for a variety of exceptional image-capturing styles and devices. He created combinations of 3-Dimensional Photography and Viewing Devices to be used in conjunction with his printed creations to achieve unique effects, with illusory and magical qualities! In gaining years of valuable knowledge through new associations, and living in the Japanese Culture for 6 years, Peter's perspective shifted to more heightened levels as he began to view writing, music, artwork and teachings in new ways. An example is his use of color as an enhancer of psychological/spiritual values in diverse environments. When working with Ken Blanchard & Affiliates, Peter created products "far beyond" anything ever seen, showing unusual intuition. The secret? Peter works with clients' perceptions of themselves and their abilities, rather than societal constructed "norms". For 25 years, this Designer has dared to be different.
